The surface of Mäkelininkatu is repaired

The surface of Mäkelininkatu will be repaired, starting on Monday September 23 and lasting for about 4 weeks. Most of the repair work will be on the Uusikatu side of the road. The street will be paved and the asphalt will be replaced.

During the repair work, Mäkelininkatu will be converted into a one-way street between Pakkahuoneenkatu and Kauppurienkatu. The lane and pavement on the Uusikadu side will be closed, but the other side of the street will be kept open for parking. When the lanes are resurfaced along the whole of Mäkelininkatu, parking will not be possible on the street.

The work will be commissioned by the City of Oulu's Community and Environmental Services. The contractor is Vasarahai Oy.
