Influence

In Oulu, the goal is that every resident feels heard and understood and that everyone has the same right to act, participate and influence on their residential area and in the entire city.

You can influence the city matters by voting every four years in municipal elections. You also have many other ways of participating and influencing. You can for example make initiatives, take part in surveys, give feedback, participate in events on your residential area and contact the city officials.
