10. Entrepreneurial Stories
What does entrepreneurship education mean in practice? How can teachers inspire students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and approach? This seminar aims to engage participants in a discussion on how entrepreneurship can be taught in their own institutions and across different subjects. The video features three experienced teachers sharing their insights on entrepreneurship education — its challenges, opportunities, and the impact on learning.
The interviewees include seasoned entrepreneurship educators and experts in entrepreneurship education: Heli Mylly (Kainuu Vocational College), Anne Liedes (Lapland Education Center Redu), and Jenni Korte (Etu-Töölö Upper Secondary School). They will discuss their methods and approaches to teaching entrepreneurship, as well as the changes and results they have observed in students' attitudes and learning outcomes.
The video also features several students who share their perspectives — what entrepreneurship education has given them and how it has influenced their thoughts about the future and working life. The aim of the video is to serve as an introduction to the topic, inspire participants, and provide concrete ideas on how entrepreneurship education can be further developed and implemented in different educational institutions.
