Library Facilities
Libraries are public spaces and open for all. You can read, spend time, study or work at libraries. You can visit self-service libraries outside of their customer service hours. Library rules and the Public Order Act must be followed at all times.
Library facilities offer an open Wi-Fi network by the name “Kirjasto”.

Reserved facilities
Small work facilities for one or two persons
Research rooms, i.e. small workspaces for one or two people, can be reserved in the Maikkula, Oulunsalo and Ylikiiminki Libraries. The facilities offer a wireless network.
A meeting block can be reserved in the Pekuri Library. The block fits a maximum of six people. The meeting block can be reserved for one hour at a time. The space is accessible for wheelchair users.
Meeting and group work facilities
Multi-purpose rooms, meeting rooms and group work facilities can be reserved in Haukipudas, Kiiminki, Oulunsalo and Yli-Ii Libraries. Facilities range from four-person rooms to 30-person multi-purpose rooms.
Open meeting facilities
There are open meeting facilities in Jääli, Kaakkuri, Karjasilta, Kiiminki and Rajakylä Libraries where small-scale events can be organized, such as craft, book or board game club activities.
