The workshop lasts 75 minutes. The workshop can be held at a library or at the school.
- The workshop discusses the services of libraries. The students will learn methods for efficient information searching and practice evaluating sources of information.
- We recommend the workshop for 1st year students as a part of orientation to the fall semester.

Kirjasto haltuun! Information Package on Moodle
In the fall of 2024, libraries will publish a new learning module for upper secondary school students. Kirjasto haltuu! Information Package can be found in the Oulu's Upper Secondary Schools' Moodle environment (in Finnish).
During the Moodle course, the students will revise using libraries, read about textbooks that are borrowed from libraries, and study information search in the online library. The Moodle course can be completed during the entire upper secondary studies, but it is good to finish it at the start of the first year's fall semester. The course's exercises can be done during class or independently. The Moodle course's contents support the Kirjasto haltuun! Workshop.
