Colorful Restaurant on May 25 at Oulu International School
The extremely popular Colorful Restaurant event opens its doors at Oulu International School (Kasarmintie 4) on Saturday, May 25 from 11.00–16.00.
The International School will be filled to the brink with exotic cuisine, homely atmosphere and happy murmur for the whole day. Colorful Restaurant is a joyful, delicious, multicultural and warm-hearted pop-up event. This year, there are participants from 20 different countries. The following countries are represented: Bangladesh, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, China, Columbia, Latvia, Lebanon, Nepal, Nigeria, Peru, Poland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam and Ukraine.
The most enthusiastic food fans usually arrive before the opening time and the event has an even flow of customers for the whole five-hour period. The previous Colorful Restaurant event was held in November and the total attendance exceeded 1 000 people.
The event coordinated by the Multicultural Centre Villa Victor offers citizens of Oulu an opportunity to try new exotic flavors and offers home cooks a chance to express their skills and represent the food culture of their homes.
