Application Period for Oulu Valistustalo Fund Grants: March 3–28, 2025, Until 15:30

The Oulu Valistustalo Fund, administered by the City of Oulu's Education and Cultural Services, supports cultural activities in Oulu. These grants are available to individuals and communities working in various fields of art and culture. 

The application period for Oulu Valistustalo Fund grants runs from March 3 to March 28, 2025, until 15:30. The total amount of funding available is €175,000. Oulu is the European Capital of Culture in 2026, which has led to a significant increase in the amount of fund grants awarded this year.

The grants can be used to support artistic work and production costs, as well as the early-stage development of productions or works, such as scriptwriting and concept development.  

Applications should primarily be submitted through the eAsiointi service (available in Finnish). If necessary, an application form can be picked up from Oulu10 service point, Torikatu 10. 

Applications are evaluated by a panel of experts, and the final decision is made by the Director of Education and Culture Mika Penttilä, based on the overall assessment.
