Booking a discussion time
The daycare staff, director, or early childhood special education teacher can send you a request to book a discussion time (e.g., a discussion about your child’s early childhood education plan). You will receive a notification about the added discussion times in the eVaka calendar and an email alert if you have allowed alerts and saved your email address in eVaka.
Both guardians of the child can see the available discussion times in the eVaka calendar. You can book one time slot for your child.
- There must be a full working day between the time of booking and the scheduled meeting time for the booking to be successful.
- Once one guardian books a time, the other cannot book a new time.
- The guardian who made the booking can cancel it two working days before the scheduled time.
- Daycare staff can modify and delete your booking. Daycare staff can book multiple times for the child.
How to book a discussion time
- Log in to eVaka in the address https://varhaiskasvatus.ouka.fi/login.
- Navigate to Calendar.
- Click Reserve a discussion time.
- Click again Reserve a discussion time.
If you have multiple children, please book a separate time for each child. - Select a suitable time from the list and tap Confirm.
Both guardians will receive an email alert about the booked time if alerts are allowed in their settings and the email address is saved in eVaka.
How to cancel your booking
- Log in to eVaka in the address https://varhaiskasvatus.ouka.fi/login.
- Navigate to Calendar.
- Click Reserve a discussion time.
- Click Cancel below the booked time.
Both guardians will receive an email alert about the calcellation.
