Transfer Application

If your child has a place in Oulu’s early childhood education and care services and you want to transfer them to another daycare centre or another family day carer, you must make a new application in eVaka.  

The new application functions as a transfer application. The application is in effect until the child is granted the transfer, or until the guardian cancels the applications, or until the application is terminated when the child’s current care place is terminated. Transfer applications do not have a processing period, meaning that early childhood education and care service coordination makes transfer decisions whenever possible considering applicants and daycare places.  

If you terminate your child’s daycare place, the transfer application will also be terminated. In this situation you may file a new application and the four-month processing period comes into effect.
