Terms and Conditions

Using data published by the city of Oulu requires complying with the Attribution license. The license is permissive in style and by using it we want to promote transparency, innovation and using information.

The license permits copying, distributing, and publicly displaying and performing open data. Derivative works may be made based on the material as long as the name of the creator or rights holder of the material is cited appropriately. The title to the original material remains with the creator of the material. The license is based on the Creative Commons license (CC 4.0 BY, ByAttribution).

The license permits

• sharing, copying and distributing the material in any media and format.
• adapting, remixing and transforming the material and building upon it.
• using the material for any purpose, also commercially.

The licensor may not revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the terms and conditions of the license.

Terms and conditions of the license

• Attribute. You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use. The licensor has the right request the publisher of the material to remove the identification of the creator of the material.
• No additional restrictions. You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
