Make your story a part of Oulu’s New Year celebration
The New Year in the city of Oulu will be celebrated in Rotuaari on December 31 starting at 8:00 PM. The celebration will highlight the stories and greetings of Oulu’s citizens.
Greetings in the form of text and images are presented on Rotuaari’s large LED screen during the New Year celebration. You can send your greetings in until December 16 on the city of Oulu website New Year's Eve | City of Oulu.
Dance, circus, magic and fire performances
Different dance, circus, magic and music performances will be seen in the family celebration, including a show combining fire and pyrotechnics. A speech on behalf of the city will be given by the City Council’s chairsperson Jarmo J. Husso. The evening is hosted and presented by Marco Bjurström.
The event is free of charge and open to everyone. The event is organized by Wadessa Oy together with the city of Oulu.
