Valkea Kesäkatu

Event organizers must consider the businesses on the Kesäkatu in the volume of the audio system 

If you want to organize catering in your event, you must work with the restaurant service providers in the Valkea Shopping Centre 

It is not allowed to prepare or heat food or drinks on the Kesäkatu 

A separate venue contract is written up between the event organizer and the Valkea Shopping Centre for each event 

Kesäkatu is located in the immediate city centre inside the Valkea Shopping Centre 

The underground car park Kivisydän and the Valkea underground car park both include straight elevator access to the Kesäkatu. Parking in these car parks is always subject to a charge. 

Public transport buses will take you to a walking distance to the Kesäkatu 

Kesäkatu can accommodate up to 1 500 persons at once. Additionally, people may watch the show from the second and third floor footbridges and galleries 

The performance stage is 6 meters wide and 4 meters deep. If needed, the stage can be altered into a U shape or catwalk with additional pieces. 

A 4-meter passageway must not be obstructed in the Kesäkatu 

Valkea includes one small backstage area with lockers, shower and toilet 

If needed, the event organizer may book larger spaces from the Sokos Hotel Arina. The spaces can be found on the fourth floor of the shopping centre, easily accessible from the Kesäkatu via elevators. 

The event attendees may use Valkea’s public toilets 

There is a peaceful family room for families 

There are power outlets on the Kesäkatu. More details when requested. 

There are both natural and artificial lighting on the Kesäkatu
