Absence Announcement on eVaka

Individual absence announcements 

  1. Log into eVaka in the address https://varhaiskasvatus.ouka.fi/login 
  2. Navigate to Calendar 
  3. Click on the individual date 
  4. Click Announce absence 
  5. Choose the child you are announcing for 
  6. Click Confirm 

 

Announcing longer periods of absence 

  1. Log into eVaka in the address https://varhaiskasvatus.ouka.fi/login 
  2. Navigate to Calendar 
  3. Click + attendance / absence 
  4. Click Announce absence 
  5. Choose the child you are announcing for 
  6. Choose the time period you are announcing 
  7. Choose the reason of the absence 
    If your child has a contract for reduced service need (10 or 13 care dates in one month), eVaka will automatically change the announced absences outside locked dates into contract absences. Contract absences cannot be announced on locked dates, i.e. the current or next week. 
  8. Save your announcement by clicking Confirm
