Summer in libraries

The summer season of public libraries has begun. Some of the libraries have shorter opening hours, and some are only open for self-service use or partially closed during the summer. 

You can see the library opening hours on your library’s website, the OUTI Web Library or by visiting your library.

Did you know that you can freeze your reservations, for example for the duration of your holiday? When you freeze a hold, you will not lose your place in the queue but the book or other item you have reserved will not arrive for you to pick up. The hold will be reactivated when you release it. You can also freeze a reservation for a limited period.
