Oulun eLukio

You can find Oulun eLukio’s module tray at the bottom of the page as an attachment, and students can also find it in their own Wilma. From the tray, you can see which school is organizing the study module you want to participate in. The school is indicated at the end of the study module code (e.g. EAA01.elukio.lyseo).

Register for the study module from the organizing school’s own tray. It is marked in the same way there. In Wilma, Oulun eLukio’s tray is visible but locked to prevent accidental registrations.

Oulun eLukio’s study modules have a capacity of 25 registrants. Priority is given to students from the organizing schools and students from the school’s partners (see partnering schools below).

Oulu’s day upper secondary schools form the following pairs in Oulun eLukio:

The partner school pairs facilitate joint planning.

The teacher from the organizing school teaches from their own classroom, and students from the organizing school participate in the teaching in the same space. Students from other schools participate in the teaching via Teams remote connections. All schools have at least one hybrid teaching classroom equipped with Teams Room hybrid teaching equipment to facilitate teaching.

A student from another upper secondary school also has the right to participate in the teaching on-site if they can move to the other school within their schedule.

Whether the student participates in the classroom with the teacher or via remote connections, they need a computer and a headset with a microphone for the lesson. During the lesson, the teacher, students who are present, and remote students are all in the same Teams meeting to facilitate communication.

Students must participate in the lesson from a quiet space where they can use a camera and microphone if needed. If a student cannot find a suitable space themselves, they should inquire about an appropriate place to participate in the lesson from the staff of their own school.

Oulun eLukio follows the lesson rotation timetable of the City of Oulu (tuntikiertokaavio). Note that individual schools’ schedules may differ slightly from the common schedule, mainly due to staggered meal times. Codes compatible with Kastellin lukio's system are 1, 2, and 4.

During evaluation weeks Oulun eLukio followes the same common schedule as other upper secondary schools.

The teacher uses the same study and teaching materials as they use in their own school. If the student does not yet have a license for those materials, they will receive it from the teacher.

Teaching uses Teams connections. The teacher will inform students how to join the Teams group.

If the student is entitled to supportive measures (e.g., extended test time), they must inform the teacher of the study module at the beginning of the module.

On the assessment day, the teacher has the opportunity to gather the entire group at their upper secondary school on-site. The teacher will announce this well in advance and ask the student about any special dietary needs. The student will receive lunch from the upper secondary school where the assessment day is held.

If the student needs to use a bus for transportation on the assessment day, the journey to the other upper secondary school is over 7 kilometers, and they do not have a travel ticket provided by Kela, they can pick up bus tickets for the journey from their own school’s office.

The teacher evaluates the study module’s performance within 10 working days and records the grade in Wilma. If the student receives a T-mark for the module, they can submit missing performances during the next period.

Retake exams are possible on the teacher’s own upper secondary school’s retake exam days or at other times suitable for the teacher. The student should discuss with the teacher well in advance and agree on retaking the exam.
