Production Support for Oulun Päivät 2025

The application for production support for Oulun Päivät is now closed.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who submitted an application and wanted to be part of creating memorable experiences for next summer’s festival!
- Application period: ended on March 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM
- Selection: we will contact the selected participants by the end of April.
How does Oulun Päivät support productions?
Financial support:
- Events: €100–5,000
- Performances: €100–500
Other forms of support:
- Providing event venues
- Lending small-scale technical equipment
Please note: Oulun Päivät commissions events and performances as part of its program – this is not a grant.
Selection Committee
The recipients of production support are selected by a multidisciplinary committee consisting of City of Oulu employees. The committee chooses both content that highlights traditions and new forms of urban culture. The amount of support is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Selection criteria:
- Events distributed across various parts of the city
- Innovative content as well as promotion of traditions
- Consideration of diverse target groups
- Open access to the public and primarily free of charge
