OUTI Libraries’ updated rules and fees will come into effect on 7.1.2025

The user fees of OUTI Libraries have been revised to follow the line of Finnish public libraries. 

Changes in library fees: 

• The fee for uncollected reservations will increase to 2 €. 

• The fee for interlibrary loans ordered from outside the OUTI Libraries will increase to 2 €. Possible additional fees charged by the sending library will also be charged for interlibrary loans. 

• The maximum amount of unpaid charges that will result in a borrowing ban will increase to 15 €. 

The above changes apply to all library customers, including children. Other charges remain unchanged.  

When making a reservation, please check that you have an email address or phone number in your contact information to which you can receive a pick-up notification. You can also always freeze i.e. temporarily suspense your reservation, for example, during a holiday or other absence. Freezing your reservation does not change your place in the reservation queue. If you have already received a collection notification and cannot collect your reservation on time, please contact the library where your reservation is waiting.
