Highly popular pop-up event, Colorful Restaurant will be organizet next time on Saturday, the 10th My 2025 at 11-16 at Pohjankartano School (Leevi Madetojankatu 1).

Last time in Colorful Restaurant event we had home chefs from following different countries: 
Bangladesh, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, China, Colombia, Latvia, Lebanon, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam

Oulu at Your Service

The event will give you a comprehensive overview of the services and leisure activities offered by the City of Oulu and organisations in Oulu region. At the event, you will discover information useful for your everyday life at Oulu: Where to buy a bus card, find interesting events and multicultural activities, outdoor attractions, or boost for career after your graduation.

Oulu at Your Service will take place in Autumn 2025 at the Career Centre lobby, on Linnanmaa campus (close to the green coat racks).

We welcome everyone to explore the variety of services and chat with experts from different fields!

Oulun Päivät - Oulu Days

The Oulu village festival was celebrated on Friday, September 6 from 13:00 to 18:00! 

The event was the perfect opportunity to discover or rediscover all the great things your hometown has to offer. The festival brought together almost 50 participants—from cultural groups to local organizations, who inspired to present the best aspects of Oulu! The Welcome to Oulu festival is part of Oulu Päivi—it takes place every fall! 🤩

Oulu loves me - Anti-racism week

The national anti-racism week takes place on week 12. This is due to 21 March being the UN's International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

A variety of activities will be organized in Oulu during the anti-racism week. The events will especially discuss respecting other people and intervening in racism.

Kahviklubi - Coffee Club

Kahviklubi (Coffee Club) is for everyone, whether you're a local Finn or new to Oulu! Join us every Wednesday from 14:00 to 16:00 at Villa Victor’s Akvaario ("Aquarium") space. It’s a welcoming and relaxed environment where you can meet people from different backgrounds, play board games, try your hand at watercolor painting, watch movies, and more. 

Each week, we switch up the themes, so there's always something new to enjoy! It’s the perfect place to practice your Finnish, but if you already speak it, it's a great chance to relax, have fun, and meet new friends—Finnish or international! 

No need to register - just come by, grab a coffee, and join the fun! 

Coffee Club is a collaboration between the Mobile Futures project and Villa Victor. 

Villaa ylle -käsityökerho - Knitting and Crocheting Club

Knitting & Crocheting Club is open to everyone and takes place every Friday from 10:00 to 11:30 in Villa Victor’s Akvaario at Oulu10! You don’t need to register in advance - just show up and enjoy a cozy atmosphere with great company. 

Whether you're an absolute beginner or experienced, we will teach you the basics of knitting and crocheting. All materials, including yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks, are provided for free. You can bring your own project or start a new one here. 

It’s a fantastic way to practice your Finnish and meet new people. Many of our members started as beginners and have since become skillful knitters! For Finnish speakers, it's a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and enjoy a relaxed, creative environment. 

Villa United Football Club for Men

Football Club for men at Villa Victor is open for every man! We meet every Monday and Thursday from 21:30 to 23:00 at Arina Areena, Heinäpää, Nuottasaarentie 12. Football shoes are required to play. 

 Club is led by Kazza, a former professional football player and it  is a great way to stay active, meet new friends, and enjoy the game—year round

This club is organized in collaboration with City of Oulu Sport Services, Villa Victor, and Yökoris.

Step into the warmth of Café Romano and discover the vibrant traditions of Romany culture. 

Hosted by Rosita Lindgren, Laimi Lindgren, and Rosita Lindgren, Café Romano welcomes you every other week at in Oulu10 "Aquarium". Each session offers a chance to explore Roman music, language, literature, or seasonal traditions, all while enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Stop by, have a chat, and share in the warmth of Roman traditions over coffee. 

Come for the culture, stay for the conversation. Everyone is welcome to join.
